My rock star coworker sang a Waylon Jennings song to me the other day, which had my name in it. I really must find a copy of this.

Had excellent Russian brunch today in Calhoun. Delicious dumplings, breads, chocolate, and the most fantastic borscht ever. Really that good. I would marry the man who made it, if he weren't already married kind of good.

Work was uneventful. On my buy shift I managed to piss of a customer, who didn't like that I only offered him $5.50 for his books. I was generous damn it. I paid for the book of flouride in the water and how evil it all is! I went high on the paperbacks. The man was extremely rude, and finally I had to get my assistant manager to come help.

Later another customer expressed a little dismay over his offer, but remained quite pleasant. We actually had a long conversation about violins, and the people who try to seel him stolen ones. I gave him one of our calenders, which has many coupons for 15% off all year. I like to do nice things for people, and I do try my hardest to make their offers high.

All of this pales to the ride home. As I pulled onto the highway, I saw what might have been a Chevy or Oldsmobile headed down 183 southbound with it's rear engulfed in smoke and flame. Truly bizarre, and going about 75mph.
