Melynda and went on our apartment hunting odessey, all round North Austin. Found some good prospects, and one fan-fucking-tastic place. I can't wait until we're out of this one and into something new. Not that I don't like where I'm living, I would just rather be free of unpleasant memories and associations with that extra bedroom.

New bras, new underwear, much silliness. Going out with Gene for dinner tonight, Houstons. I feel a great need for a steak, baked potato and a drink in one of those clubby leather chairs. Indeed.

Happy day. The sky is wide, and it's almost hot again.
