can't you hear me?
Apr. 12th, 2002 10:48 pmI'm watching The Crow II: City of Angels, remembering how it is to be in love with unfamous men. I can't watch the first one, the better one, just yet. I haven't seen it since the year everything changed. I was reading the old graphic novel on that fateful day. I have not opened it once since then, because I think it had a lot to do with the decision I made.
Iggy Pop inspired a great poem from me, and seeing him in this movie sealed it. About how he was my anti-drug, long before that became the popular slogan of advertising. I watched this movie for free in the theater where James worked, killing time til he got off and we could go home and be wild reckless youth. Swimming naked in the middle of the cold night, eating Milk Duds and drinking Mountain Dew. God I feel so old.
