first afternoon

Went well, better than expected.
Gene says, "Sakra."
So now I own a watch, and I'm drinking beer, listening to Gene swear in Czech, and really, everything is okay. I feel better about it, though the abject terror is still there somewhat, in the back of my head.
Remind me to never, ever, do this again.

Very important question for you all

Gene and I need an answer to this RIGHT NOW, before we murder each other arguing over it. I won't tell you whose is on which side, just tell us the answer before we get too drunk to understand.

It's a strange thing, to love this way.
Stranger still, to think it's taken me all these years to find it.
Thank you, to all of you who helped me find this part of myself. All of my friends who've been there with words and voices and worlds beyond.
And you, most of all, to you who made my heart leap when you talked about Throwing Copper. Because no one else ever said anything quite so right.
