Proof of my dubious status as a student has been duly faxed off, and hopefully all problems with my plane ticket are fixed. Let's hope taking the train from Frankfurt to Brno will be less of an ordeal than flying. How I hate to fly. I would love it, if I was the one guiding the plane, and it was more comfortable.

Sam is sleeping on our couch, after much weekend drama and weirdness. Let me just say, I hate to see a lover come between friends. Especially such good friends. Perhaps having a houseguest will motivate us to unpack more of our things.

Two days til Star Wars. I really want this one to be good. Ten days til New York, and I can not wait.

The new No Doubt song, it makes me think of Gwen Stefani as the punky little sister of Trent Reznor, messing around with his machines.

Someone threw something through one of the front windows of the store Saturday night. A thousand dollar window, and it's broken by a bottle? One would think it would be made of stronger stuff. I'm kind of amused that the boss is coming back to the chaos right now.

I did learn today that after my New York trip I still have four vacation days to use up. I think I can knock a day or two off my work week all through June and still come out with some money. Happy day.

I just remembered where I was supposed to be, but it's late and I don't feel like going out and drinking tonight. Better to think about unpacking some of my books instead.
