co je nového dneska?
Aug. 2nd, 2002 01:47 pmThe grey weather makes the Englishman feel quite at home. I just hope I don't get caught out in the rain, since my umbrella is a few thousand miles away.
I have so much domací ukol that my head is swimming in a see of missed accent marks and such things. They are very serious about this intensive business. It is good, probably. That doesn't mean I like writing essays every night.
Exhausted today, because I stayed up til 3am to try and call home. Talked to my mom for a little while. News from home is a mixed bag. My sister doesn't sound too happy, being sick and having a root canal. So many divorces in the circle of friends that I remember my parents inviting over during the summertime. It's sad. I feel like in the past year I have lost a lot of the last pieces of my childhood.
Still very lonely here. At least there are the Brits, Frances and David, to talk to when I need to keep my mind off it. I am skipping lunch right now though, because the lack of real sleep makes me a bit ill. Think I will just walk down to Diana and buy ice cream instead.
