I never did eat lunch

I have not done much today, in truth. Lost something, held several brief phone conversations, etc, etc. I did get to see Shelly, which is always a bright spot. She's had a rough time of late, but seems to be getting better.

Right now, I should probably give Gene back his laptop, since I keep accidentally knocking it into the Czech key layout, and he's got a CS project involving numbers written by monkeys on crack to work on this evening. Lovely, really lovely. I'm going to drink another two glasses of wine, and perhaps eat some ice cream before I fall asleep.

Had yet another strange dream with Anthony Hopkins as my bizarre benefactor. He let me wear his jacket last night, and put his arm around my shoulders.

Came home last night from keeping an eye on my house, where my sister spent a lot of time taking collect calls from Dimwit. At least I know he's stuck in there for the time being. Gah. Anyway, we came home with ice cream and wine. Jim and Gene were sort of working on their neural net project, but mostly drinking and playing Warcraft and such. It was just pleasant to be around and drift in and out of conversation.

After my weird dreams about Mr. Hopkins, I went to brunch with Melynda and her sister. I am too full of migas now, but at least I have showered. Perhaps today I will just play cards, and write, maybe iron some shirts. It's nice outside.

everyday is halloween here

I need to come up with a Halloween costume, or I'm sure I'll sink into morbid depression. I still have the wig and the East European clothes I wore last year, but I kinda want to do something different.
