Email from Micah, who is in Scotland right now. Ahh, I miss him so much. At least he is happy and doing things in a beautiful land far away. I think my most enduring image of Micah is him leaping up from his seat in the waiting area in the Dallas airport and running towards me with a look of joy. God, it felt good to be back in Texas at that moment. We were laughing and almost crying and hugging, and causing a scene I suppose. It was good.

Listening to Christopher Lee speak about Sauroman is fascinating. The cast commentary is quite interesting, talking about the characters, reminiscing about pranks and the construction of dialogue and scenes. I feel goofy and over dramatic, constantly repeating how wonderous all of this is, but it is the truth. This movie is amazing

And knowing that Elijah Wood overshot the ferry the first time he took that running leap and swandived into the water is great. He has the best giggle.
