Ah. It's good to know someone else recognizes my secret desire to be a knight. It's funny, because I so often think of it to myself in exactly that way.

While my wizard doesn't like to be a messenger boy, I am vastly amused at being called upon to make sure all flows smoothly in our grand soap opera verse. Reive is trapped without net, and the whole thing sounds so bloody unpleasant. But we did have a conversation that veered wildly from serious to hysterical, and it was such a pleasure to hear her voice again.

My head is full of things. Oh so full.

But you know what? I have a plane ticket to New York, April 30th to May 6th. The price was too good to pass up and Besides, I promised Reive I would cook, and I find myself yearning to see all the wonderful people there, and I really do need to go to the Met again. Not to mention have cupcakes and conversations.

Now that I'm practically vibrating with adrenaline from wandering around and using my credit card, I don't know how I will go to sleep.

If there were not other people in the house trying to sleep, I would blast music and run around doing something. Maybe clean. But I can't get myself into doing that without the music and I have no idea where my discman went. Or if it even has batteries.

So I'm having conversations in my head, and I just noticed that my green chair is missing from the living room. This makes me a bit uneasy, and I have to resist the urge to bang around and find out what happened to it. If harm has befallen my dear chair, there will be terrible vengence.

Must sleep! Must keep the wizard from touching the credit card again! Must stop being quite so nutty around my friends! At least enough so that they don't lock me away or hide.

Rachel made egg salad sandwiches, and we had tea with our dinner. It was so grand.

"What is your S.U.V. doing to our national security?"

Another example of a world gone mad. I just received a piece of mail from October 11th, 2001. It's from Fujitsu, about my warranty registration. Apparently they have the wrong number, so could I please contact them so my warranty will kick in? A good thing my mail forwarding still seems to work, I suppose.

That was the highlight of my daily ramble around outside. I've been watching the mail box, as my rice steamer should arrive one day soon, and my grandmother had offered to send me a food processor. I dream of culinary delights, making a mess of the kitchen and creating delicious things. I should practice, oh yes. I have a craving to make dumplings.
