are these answers?
Jul. 19th, 2003 01:34 pmWhy don't *boys* plan out their dream wedding by the time they are six?
Because no one lies to boys and tells them organizing tables for a hundred and fifty people is fun? Because boys don't dig flowers? I don't know really. I do know that the youngest son of a friend of mine repeatedly told his mother that he was going to marry a girl "with long hair just like yours" all the time. I think truthfully it is just something not encouraged in boys.
What is the best method for setting someone on fire?
Oh choices choices. I'm a big fan of the classic gasoline soaking, followed by a classy Zippo trick to get the fire rolling.
Where are you going in your life?
Dear gods above. I wish I knew.
Far more than the material things I want, my dream is to end up somewhere where I am reasonably content with my work and in the company of those dearest to me. Ideally I will be running the world and telling people to stop blowing each other up. But on a less grand note, I would like to live in academia, play in the grassy verges at the feet of the ivory towers with students and what not. I would like to be more together internally, and feel less like my life is composed of disparate pieces that I must hold together through sheer will. On a less complicated note, I would really like to move to New York.
