dining table and four chairs for sale
Oct. 13th, 2003 10:23 pmI need a picture of that dining room set. I've decided to sell it off to someone, as it just takes up more room than we have. It's lovely, glass top with rounded edges and black metal base, matching chairs, all in good shape. One of the chair backs is a little loose, but that could probably be fixed. So if anyone here is interested, y'all get first shot.
If I had known work would be so sucktacular and slow, I would have called in and spent three days at the Little House. Of course, my car might have been twice as loaded up with stuff. But I could have eaten the rest of the ice cream surely.
The drive home was uneventful save for a dumbfuck who decided to come to a stop on the access ramp. I laid on the horn and with colorful hand gestures tried to get him out of my way before we were all killed. The St John's exit is downhill, so if you're on the highway you can't quite seen the point where it joins the access road because of the angle, and I was worried someone would come speeding down on top of me.
We're going home early to do laundry, clean and generally make the house more presentable. We need to make room for our gigantic persian rug! And our spiffy new reading chair, a family antique Cate reupholstered. Alan's made a little diagram of how to move all the furniture around. Sometime this week or this weekend we're going to move the last of my books and book case.
