We woke up absurdly early on Saturday and headed towards Bryan. Game traffic in Austin was bad, and the gas station was full of Nebraska folk. Joan made taco soup, and we watched the game with them. Edward and I were quite overjoyed by the smackdown UT dealt out to the Cornhuskers. There were some great plays made.

A trip to Best Buy, a trip to look at wedding supplies, a nap and then off to Snook for a big dinner at the Czech/Tex place with the extended family. Lots of good food, and family time. Alan's grandfather seems to know everyone. When we were leaving, a whole crowd of folks out on the porch wanted to shake his hand and say hello.

Alan and I went to the Fox & Hound later that night to have a few drinks and tell each other stories. Like dating I suppose. It was nice. Watched the end of the Arkansas/Kentucky game which was the most insane college football game I've ever seen. Seven overtimes, and those players looked miserable out there.

Big breakfast this morning, and fixing computers and discussion of the wedding menu. I think we have a pretty good idea of what we're doing now food-wise, and Rachel will make her devilled eggs. Mmm eggs.

Brought home our dresser, which is lovely. It has a glass door with some etching, and lots of drawers, and eventually we will fill it with our clothes. Not right now, as we're both exhausted.
