Nov. 30th, 2003 03:45 pmMicah came over last night after he finished working. There was card playing, drinking, eating. We made fun of Travolta and watched Stargate on television. I am going to see Micah again on Thursday, and it comforts me to know my friends are such solid people. There's no pretending between us, no hesitation to talk about all the good and all the bad in the world. In the truest sense of the word Micah is my brother, and that makes me so glad.
It means the world to us to have him walk me up the aisle. No one is giving me away. No one has the right to 'give' me to anyone else, and this ceremony is entirely a choice. My friends are an honor guard of sorts, showing support for this decision. At least, that's how I like to think of it.
Playing Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. Considering I haven't played Castlevania since the side-scrolling days so it's a huge change. Lots of fun though. I should start again so Alan doesn't steal the controller from me...
