It figures that since I left the house today, UPS would deliver. My dad bought us the super fabulous crystal clock. It's sort of frivolous, but I really like that clock. It's on my desk now. I'm glad he picked that to give us, as I can look at it and smile now.

In the more mercenary Dillards report, someone bought us bathtowels! Whee. The super bedset we want is on sale, so maybe that will tempt a relative? Come on it's blue and gold brocade! It's opulent and excessive and we love it so. There's all kinds of pyrex and kitchen gadgetry coming soon. Exciting! We're going to have so much grown up stuff I don't know what we will do.

Work is so so so so slow. But that's okay. I got my car inspected without hassle, and picked up our copy of Pirates of the Carribean today. Tomorrow or Thursday I must go to the post office. Thursday Micah will be here and I think we should spend the day in Metro playing cards. Yes, we should. And I should really start writing thank you cards.

boxes and boxes

More pyrex things came today, along with a shiny chrome blender and lots of actual glasses. No more drinking my coffee, my juice and my liquor out of wine glasses. Hah. The living room is full of boxes again! And packing peanuts. We're drowning in them.
