If you don't read the New York Times, you really should. There were several fascinating articles in there today, everything from dam projects in China to arguments about how psychiatric treatments are developed and used to Heinlein's first and lost manuscript to this guy in NYC with six monkeys in his apartment and the latest word ont he Pentagon's robot race. The NY Times gets me through the day. I'd go insane without it.

I am so miserable, because it's 8am and I could use a bloody damned drink because I can not sleep.

Why the hell is it so easy to talk to everyone but me? I am so tired, and it just hurts.

100% of B3, B5, B6 B12 and vitamin C

Oh yes. I've hit the stage of sleep deprivation where it suddenly seems like a fan-fucking-tastic idea to never sleep again. Think of all the things I could do! Whee!

Ahh, it's a good thing I never had a constant supply of Miss Natalie's Ritalin. I remember the couple times I did take it were blissful and manic. All too easy to become addicted to, surely. That thought does not prevent me from wanting one right now.

However I will drink my vitamin water and inject some more caffiene before I have to drive. Having lunch with Sarah at La Madeline, and then I think I'll swing over to Best Buy and look at stuff.

I'm going to be hating life tonight when I'm at work, I can already tell. Fortunately, a nice coyote in NYC sent me a copy of Bowie's Heathan to pass the time. Thank you, kind sir.

oh delerium

I've made it surprisingly well. Aside from nearly getting into an accident on the freeway, and spilling quiche crust crumbs all over myself I suppose. Maybe it was the thirty, fourty minute nap I took. Almost didn't make it to work.

Just the headache and thirty three more minutes of work to endure.

Had a very nice lunch at La Madeline with Sarah. It was a good day to eat outside. I'm glad I left early, because they had a lane of 183 shut down, and I got to wait in the sun. It felt good, and means I'm probably not getting enough vitamin D or something.

There was Amy's ice cream at work for the monthly meeting. Mmm ice cream.

Despite insomnia induced insanity, I have been very productive. However I didn't manage to spend any money.
