things to make the day better

In the mail I recieved an invitation to my friend Warhol's wedding. It's a really pretty invite, with soft paper and purple ribbon. Thank heavens for the directions! I don't think I've been to anyone else's wedding in years and years, so I'm really looking forward to it. Alan and I will pretend we know how to dance.

What a very long day. I feel drained.

Fortunately the doctor visit went smoothly, my files are updated and the insurance seems to work. I fear that should we need prescription drugs it will be another round of hellish hassle.

Bagel lox is good. Roasted red pepper bagels are good.

Not an hour into my day I was moved into another state. Despite vast quantities of work available, it's been a struggle to get anything done. Between being in a different state and the management's new policy of only allowing us to have a few hours worth of work at a time... ugh. It makes me want to scream.

There's a lot kicking around in my brain. I wish I could go away from everything and everyone for a day or two and think it all through.

I keep having nightmares about the end of the world.
