Well, my sister has a thing for Mary Kay products and she needed a fifth person for this demonstration so she could earn $100 worth of free makeup. Being that I am a somewhat good person I said I would come over.

My friends would either laugh or be struck dumb with incredulous looks.

But all in all it wasn't so bad and certainly easier to do in the company of semi-strangers. I've known Kelly's friend Autumn since she moved into the neighborhood and she's always been a decent influence so I like her. She's a stay at home mom now, and it's odd to think of the little girl I knew way back then.

I put on my own makeup today, which I don't usually do. Normally I would con my friends or my husband into doing it, as they know these things better. But I managed all that eyeshadow fairly well, enough that my sister's friends complimented my work. I'm impressed, anyhow.

I blame the fact that I've been reading Victorian novels. Some odd part of me must be yearning for these strange, unknown things. Or it could just be the vanity of my wizards. Either way, it's kind of funny. Though I reserve the right to punch the first person who makes fun of me for it.

After all, I did get free grape flavored lip gloss and you can't go wrong with that.

In other news, it's bloody damned hot and we stuffed ourselves at Kerbey Lane for breakfast. I love summer. This morning I recieved another set of Gmail invites, so if you're interested comment or mail me with your email address.
