Delay & Enron in bed over Texas redistricting

DeLay's Corporate Fundraising Investigated

Texas law bars corporate financing of state legislature campaigns.

I hope they nail DeLay and his Republican cronies to the wall for what happened in the redistricting fight here. It was an outright and blatant power grab, financed by the corporate greed of Enron and others. The entire nation laughed at the Democrats who fled to New Mexico to try and hold up the redistricting fiasco.

I don't like to talk about politics anymore, but I'm glad someone is looking into this. How dare Delay say he's concerned about ethics when he was asking Enron to contribute coporate money for a campaign to change the composition of the state legislature? There are precious few honest men in politics, but that doesn't mean we should turn a blind eye to things like this.

ninety two degrees

This is a terrible mood. I'm more depressed than I thought. It's been a very long Monday.

On the brighter side, I took my extra dozens of cookies to work and my coworkers were appreciative.

The cat tried to lay down on my laptop.
