Last night, just after midnight, the upstairs neighbors started up again. It sounded as if they were walking back and forth over the place directly over my head. They were shrieking and making all sorts of racket.

I can't fathom why people are so incredibly moronic.

There are all these horrible "no smoking" signs up at Metro, and it makes me so depressed. I was looking at all those signs saying no smoking within fifteen feet of the entrance to a public building, and then looking at the doors down the Drag... apparently if I want to be completely legal about it I need to stand in the damned street to have a cigarette these days.

The nonsmokers should have just opened their own bars if that was what they wanted.

Austin Texas has two Roller Derby Women's Leagues. I hear this is some of the weirdest entertainment in town. How can it not be, with teams like Putas del Fuego and the Hell Marys?

At Central Market, I found ginger Altoids, blueberry sorbet, and locally produced Sweet Leaf tea. We also bought some steak, red potatos and a tomato mozzarella caper salad.

I need a psych book on cognitive therapy techniques as applied to generalized anxiety disorders. Not one of those namby pamby self help books, but a serious psych text.

The Ninth Gate is kinda odd. There have been a number of spectacular and awful movies on, including Waterworld and some crappy thing with Russell Crowe as a killer AI. Even a not so hot movie with Johnny Depp trumps that. Plus, Satanists!

Ingenious. That stupid blinking ad was popping up constantly when the bad spyware hit my computer. I've seen people all over LJ today signing up for this thing. I'll be very curious to see if anyone actually ends up with an Ipod.
