I laid awake for most of the night, wondering if the dark would ever change and if I was going to fall asleep. It was not so great when I did, these nightmares about old paintings and fires.

I am so tired.

I wish it would rain.

Alan fell asleep not long after we got home. I wish I could do that. Working Florida seems to tire him out.

I found a really wonderful picture of Derek & Kevin from the wedding. It's strange to think about them as grownups, or me as a grownup. Who knew that six years after we graduated they would be at my wedding?
