A lonely pensioner who turned to Italy's classified pages to find someone willing to "adopt" him as a grandfather is finally heading to his new home and family in northern Italy this weekend.

I think someone's trying to keep Florida out of the next election, and using their CIA weather control machine to do it. The hurricanes are out to get them.

I woke up way too early again, but only because my mind is full of thoughts and plans.

Today I made another pillow, grey with a red stripe. I am rather pleased with it as an impulsive project. There are many more pillows in my future, no doubt. I love pillows. I would fill my entire home with them, overflowing piles of pillows on every surface.

In the afternoon I played cards, winning and losing equally well. Only one beverage, as the coffee at Texpresso is much harder on my heart and stomach. It makes me feel old.
