Thank you, all of you. I'm less bouncy, but quite happy. I had a drink with dinner and it slayed me. I think I'll go to bed really early tonight.
My aunt sent me a cheering email today, regarding the 9th circuit court and their insanity:
Don't worry Amanda, the 9th Circuit is the most reversed panel in the country.... I think they make these rulings to get publicity.... I am pretty sure this would fall under the separate but equal principal. The 9th court is a joke. I can't believe they don't do something about it; there is talk about splitting it (it covers Alaska, Oregon, Washington, California, and Arizona). the 9th Circuit accounts for 43% of the Supreme Court UNANIMOUS reversal decisions. In '96 73% of their decisions that were appealed were reversed. Its cases are reversed 3 times more often than any other court..... the worst thing is that I don't think they are inept, rather that they are intentionally attempting to create law instead of interpret the law. There are many articles now being written about judicial tyranny and excess....
I'm not sure I mentioned it, but she writes to me and despite living so far away I think I have more contact with her than any other part of my extended family. It makes me happy.
Oh my stars I'm tired. Tomorrow is my last day of flood maps EVER! EVER!
