It took me almost an hour to get to HEB, ascertain they had no bubble mailing envelopes, buy ice cream and go home. While on IH35 I formed many brilliant and witty observations about the kind of people who drive 70mph in the pouring rain. Alas, I forgot them by the time I turned my machine back on today.

In the mail I had some market research lotion, which is super nice and unscented. Yay for free products. I also had a package of the Midwinter's Eve and Frost Moon scents that I purchased on the BPAL forums. Oh am I kicking myself for not ordering these, as they are perfect for me. Frost Moon is my ultimate minty scent, very crisp and green and bright with hints of eucalyptus and lotus. Midwinter's Eve is the perfect candied plum on a tray of fruit jellies. It's sweet and delightful. I'm wearing one on each wrist and basking in the fruity minty meld.

I think I have enough bubble wrap from these packages to pack things I need to mail out now.

In training today we got our first test back. I have a 93, which is a respectable score for the first test I've been graded for in nearly three years. I'm peeved at myself about missing something that seems so obvious in retrospect. Urgh. We also started doing role-plays in class, practicing calls. I borked something important on the first call and felt like a dolt for thirty seconds. But I did well with the second one, and that took the sting out of it. Our teacher is excellent, and very thorough. Sometimes her OCD tendencies raise my hackles, but I'm just glad she makes the effort to get all this information to us.

I would really, really like for it to stop raining now.
