May. 23rd, 2005 10:56 pmI did nothing of note today, other than read A Sundial in a Grave: 1610 which is fast becoming one of my new all time favorite novels. I love the 17th and 18th century! I'll write a more complete entry on this book when I'm finished, but I'm trying to savor the pleasures of rapiers, wheel lock pistols, assassinations, astrologers, conspiracies, Rosicrucians, duels, and suprises. I randomly found the book this weekend.
My arms have been bothering me, so I'm trying to cut down my online time. Less computer, more books, more video games, less typing, more longhand writing. Maybe that will even translate into less spending on BPAL. But I had to buy the Cthulhu scent, you know. Ah, I'm a sucker.
My giant order arrived over the weekend. Two Five & Seven is the most lovely profusion of roses, all colors and shapes. It's like being flat ony our back in a summer garden, with warm grass and flowers everywhere. I love it. R'lyeh is my new favorite summer scent. It is sinister, salty grapefruit. I love it more and more.
There are tons of samples I need to try in this box, and I think my Mi-Go order will be here soon too! IF nothing else, I will always smell nice.
