Yesterday Tyler and I went to the Chronicle Hot Sauce and Salsa festival at Waterloo. It was brutally hot, and crowded. But I tasted many a delicious green sauce. Supergood. I'm also a new shade of tan, right to my toes. I also saw Gene this weekend, as he passed through on his way back east. Strangely, he looks both younger and older to me. I think it is the jeans.

I think I need a new book to read.
