nothing to do but drink and screw
Sep. 29th, 2005 05:34 pmThere sure are a lot of pregnant girls in Wichita county. I've been working on correspondence and e-reports today. It's a riot. You would not believe how badly so many folks spell. But it's extremely simple, and you cut out that time spent on the phone so you end up working twice as fast. I like it. Today I've processed 24 reports, which is about double what one normally does. Brilliant! I need to get my way into the e-report unit. They even get to work from home sometimes.
Tyler wants this: http://www.apriliausa.com/models03/road/eng/modello.phtml?id=24#
I fully support the idea. Now we need to win the lottery.
Things have been so hectic recently. But today, the weather changed and that's something at least. It's cloudy and cool, probably mid 70s out there. After a week of over 100 degree days, this is paradise. It soothes my headache, that's for sure.
I've found a kind soul in the office to cover my Saturday shift so I can watch the OU game. I'm going down to Houston to spend that weekend with Melynda. There is promise of tasty food and margaritas.
I started messing around with World of Warcraft. I won't have a regular character or anything until I get home internet, but I started playing something on Tyler's account. I've having fun with it except for the fact that I can't find those damned Scarlet Bridgade goons in the glades. I think I'm looking in the wrong spot. Level 8, woo. I've started playing with a fighter as it seemed like the simplest way to get a hang of the game mechanics. I play wizards so often too, I probably need to branch out more. So whenever Tyler gets bored, I'll snag his machine and play a bit.
Tonight I'm going to play my cleric of undead smiting doom at Stacy & Eric's place. That means delicious take-out from Lubys, geek fun and good company.
