Completely uninspired today. I had no energy for work, especially after Ethnic Crying Grandmother #459 chewed me out because I can't send CPs to pick up her grandbabies because they don't eat enough fruits and vegetables. I don't care if the food isn't nutritious. Call me when the kids don't get any meals. Oi.
I really feel bad for the crying grannies. It's sad. But they fall into predictable patterns. Rarely you get Rational Yet Tearful Grandmother, and even rarer still are the Informed Calm Grandmas. More likely it is Crying Loudly Hand Wringing Grans, Righteous Indignant Grammies, Crying Ethnic Grandmother (complete with random foreign language phrases that you can't understand!), Completely Uninformed Grandma, and Grandma Who Disapproves of Everything Mom Does. Please folks, don't make your grandma call me, it's no good for anyone.
Maybe it's the weather. It's cold. The cedar is high, and a lot of people here are allergic to it. I'm alright, just lethargic and that's more weather than anything. I know from years of observation that I go into hibernation mode and sleep a lot more at this time of year.
It's almost Christmas. I'm worried because presents I mailed haven't arrived, and presents I ordered haven't arrived either. Argh. hurry up little packages! I mailed them almost two weeks ago, surely that was well in time for Christmas delivery. In the meantime I entertain myself by watching the $6 silver jewelry change every fifteen minutes. I ordered a couple things from the Silver jewelry club site a few months ago. They are very delicate, but nice things. A real steal for six bucks. Plus, there is a constant parade of shiny objects.
Still, they are nothing compared to the myraid wonders of Wearable Sculpture. I could kick myself for not getting in on the last round of Mysteries, so I'm saving up for the next one.
