My nightmares were full of blood and Gene Wilder movies. I think I spent too much time with my nose in Pandora's Star and watching this Russian film Tycoon. Still vaguely unsettled, and tired enough to want to take a week off just to sleep. AS I've gotten older in the past couple years I seem to require more sleep which distresses me. I could get so much more done if I didn't have to sleep. I'm too poor and too lazy to have a stimulant program, I've decided.

I only caught the last twenty minutes of House last night, shame. I am now envisioning a young House running around collecting beetles in Egpyt.

This morning it was all "fuck this bullshit." If you don't do your goddamned job, don't blame me when someone fucking dies. That is all.

The day really did improve, later on. My trainees are sharp ladies, and it's a pleasure to work with them. My boss backed me up with all the bullshit this morning. I went out to dinner with Tyler, stuffed myself with linguine and went to have a beer afterwards. So it's alright.
