Wasn't it just yesterday that I was saying I hadn't been involved in an internet kerfluffle in awhile? Hah! I seem to have made the mistake of responding to something in such a way as to cause the writer some offense. Well. Perhaps I didn't think it through enough. Perhaps my comment came off more harshly than I intended. This person does get excessively worked up when they feel misinterpreted, and I can understand that some. It doesn't seem to have caused any permanent damage though, so we go on.

I stayed up too late last night. This morning will require a lot of coffee. I keep fantasizing about going to back to bed. Comfortable bed, with soft blanket and cool sheets and pillows... sigh. I feel bad that I kept my coffee companion up so late but I wasn't thinking about it being a work night. Hello, brain, where have you gone?

Zombified day. I've had a headache, and didn't realize until I got home today that I completely forgot to eat anything yesterday. That's really weird, because I like food and usually spend the last couple hours of my work day thinking about dinner. I ate some almonds and it's helped take the edge off. I took a half hour nap, and I'm not sure if I'm more or less confused. I feel like such a dolt for staying up so late on a work day. Really brilliant move.

A&E has become such a weird channel these days. Why do they have hour specials on teen thrill killers? Not that it isn't interesting, but still. I am really curious about the research into whether's there is any biological basis for some of these kids. If I wasn't so creeped out by the squishiness of the body and bad at math, I think I would enjoy brain science. We know so little about how the brain actually works. I don't think biology is ever going to be able to provide all the answers, but it would be incredible to have some.

I have a bug bite on my ear. This is more irritating than I can adequately express. Almost as irritating as those Budweiser commercials that seem to be on constantly. The price I pay for SVU, such bad commercials.

Yes, I know. Reality television is the tool of the devil. But I like Top Chef and Project Runway because it actually has people doing *something* creative instead of running over rope courses and eating bugs. Stephen reminds me terribly of Gene at times. I think it has to do with the body language and the arrogance. Hah! Speaking of Stephen, there's got to be an explosion of RPS tonight after this episode. The Stephen/Harold thing cracked me up so much. So tell me, interweb, where's the fanfic? It has to be funny.
