(no subject)

I've been more productive in the past two and a half hours than I have been all week long. I cleaned up the living room, cleaned up my bedroom, pulled out the dreaded vacuum, threw out trash, attempted to clean the glass door and failed largely due to lack of glass cleaner, ran downtown and back on errands, and made myself some lunch. Woo. I also did a load of laundry, and later I'll make a pound cake. Go me. I did forget to shave my legs though. Alas.

you only have to look behind you

I did mostly shave my legs, before I left the house again. I had coffee and lemonade with Sarah down at the Green Muse. A strange man using a walker bummed a cigarette, and I noticed there are two little turtles in their pond. We had a good time talking in our way about everything from blood tests to history to Thursday Next novels and the perils of academia. On the way home I picked up some glass cleaner so I can redo the glass door and not have it drive me insane with the streaks. I am sad to see South Korea losing their game, but the Swiss seem to be kicking ass.

I need new music. I have to stay away from the iTunes. It is full of the evil and no freaking Tool. What gives? Eh. I downloaded the most fabulous remix of Walking in LA ever, so it balances out. Also, why did no one ever tell me how fabulous Ladytron is? Hello? Damn. I'm in love with this song.
