thump thump thump
Nov. 5th, 2006 01:54 pmMy upstairs neighbors annoy me to no end. When they party, they start the loud music well after midnight, and I swear they are the most heavy footed people ever. Thump thump thump. It woke me up this morning, and it continues now that I'm home again. Gah. I need to get out of this apartment living nonsense and get a house where I don't have such close contact to people who annoy me. Some days I just want a little peace and quiet.
Melynda and I ate brunch at Chez Zee, a fine Austin institution. I can't believe I've lived here so long and never eaten there before. Melynda had some seriously decadent creme brule french toast, and I had eggs benedict. One egg was on an english muffin with creamed spinach and beef tenderloin. The other was on a crab cake. I was impressed by the hollandaise, and the side of roasted potato chunks. We also had fresh warm croissants with strawberry butter. I feel like I will never eat again, I am so full of rich food.
Last night I had many beers, and there were numerous bad, bad, bad jokes. Between Tyler, Kevin and Harris we were set for evil. It was fun, though I was sad that Sarah got sick with the flu. I was looking forward to getting her an evening of freedom from all her work.
