I need to re-do my profile information. This is always a puzzle and source of agony for me, as thinking of what to say in that space is damnably difficult. I am not something easily summarized. At the same time, it would be nice to have something there about myself that maybe says a bit about me. But I also wwant to avoid having a biography and a detailed list of instructions in there. I have seen some crazy user info pages. Maybe I'll just go with the caveat "Do not poke with sticks unless well prepared."
Work was decent today. It felt less grueling than the pre-holiday time. I accomplished a lot actually. My supervisor gave me my stats for the past couple months recently and wow. Every time I start to feel like I am lame, I look at those numbers. Numbers aren't the whole story here, not by a long shot, but those numbers make me feel so good.
My two year mark comes later this morning. My supervisor has already given me the grene light to fill out the papers to apply for an acting supervisor spot. I'd be trained to staff calls with other workers, read PN cases and assist the supervisors in some of their tasks. It would be interesting. No pay raise or importance, but it would give me something else to learn and be especially helpful when I peer train. At this point in time, supervisor duties are the only thing I can't do here. I think if I really wanted to, and retirements/leaving/etc were on my side, I could rocket through this agency.
Right now I am craving french toast so much. I don't know why, as I recently had my french toast fix at dinner over the weekend. But it just sounds so good. Mmm toast.
