I saw the first flowers today - purple on a chinaberry tree, the incredible white flowering trees and the little yellow flowers on the bushes out front. It was windy, and the world is turning slowly. Tonight's full moon rose with more than half in the shadow of the eclipse.
I played with puppies today. They are so cute and fuzzy and small. Their eyes are still closed, but they make little noises and lick. One of them looks like Magic, solid black with a white star on his chest. I want this puppy so bad. The people across the street moved out of their house today and I wish I could mortgage my soul for it. Damn the fact that I don't have money ready for a downpayment. If I had could say with certainty that I would move into a place with a yard, my mother would let me have the puppy.
Got my hair cut, and looked for sandals at Payless. Alas, I couldn't find any that were what I wanted. But at least my hair is shiny blue black and short. My hair cutting lady Tonya told me she was trying to give me Aeon Flux hair.
In the late afternoon, I went to IKEA with Mike because my car has more cargo room for the purchasing of a liquor cabinet. Actually, it looks more like a high school or police locker. I have a new shower curtain, lingonberry jam, and black currant preserves. Mmmm. Ligonberries for a tort of epic Russian deliciousness. One day I mean to try to meatballs, but I always get sidetracked.
Once the liquor cabinet was assembled, it needed to be filled. Then there was silly conversation and drinking. Melynda related how she almost killed someone because of too much GTA. There was a battle of nerf guns. All in all, it was a good evening.
