Phone dead, don't call this weekend

My phone has suffered a hardware failure that renders it useless. Given that my contract has been up and I'm eligible for a free new phone, I just resigned with the same plan I've been using. So it will be a couple days til they mail me the new phone. (I know, I could have gone to a store but after yesterday I was not up for leaving the house.) If you must get ahold of me, email me. Or call Tyler and tell him to come visit my apartment to pass along your message, haha.

I wanted to call in to work today, but I didn't have any way of doing so! Argh. I also don't have anyone's phone numbers right now either. Hopefully this will all transfer on my SIM card, but in the event it doesn't I need to make an actual phone list on paper.

I was all worried I would be late to work today because my phone is dead and that's my alarm clock. When I get here, one peer trainer is flexing out time due to working four ten hour days. The other took leave to go visit family out of town. One training boss called in sick, and no one knows where the other one is. All the trainees are next door with the BSD instructor for the day. So I'm just sitting over here alone, with no work assigned... sigh. I've found some make busy work and I'm pulling ereports. But I really think I might just go home.

the golden age

I watched the trailer for Elizabeth: The Golden Age, and it gave me goosebumps. I love the story of Elizabeth I. Strangely just a few minutes later I saw a short trailer on television. It chills me to the bone.
