Oct. 26th, 2007 12:43 pmSomething I forgot to journal from last week - while at the Maker fair with some friends, Mike bought me a copy of The New Intercourses: An Aphrodisiac Cookbook and even had it signed by one of the authors. It was a very sweet gift, as I am a sucker for both cookbooks and sex. I hope to make some of the recipes soon.
We're leaving soon for our vacation, and a couple nights in a bed and breakfast that boasts a large whirlpool bath and plenty of privacy. It's actually a little cottage on the property that we have all to ourselves. I'm looking forward to getting out of town, and away from all the cares here.
Last night we dined with Tyler, his last meal at Trudy's for now. Tyler and Mel will leave Texas on Monday morning. I'm not sure if I am ready to let more of my friends go off on adventures without me. It makes me sad. But I think it will be good for both of them. Truong is flying down to help. Mel finally told her father, in the way I knew it would happen, as an offhand remark. Hahah.
