Have been sick, deathly sick the past two or three days. Feverish, unable to lay down because of the choking feeling in my lungs, and the pounding pain in my ears. The ears are a bit better. I don't remember any of Monday night through yesterday evening when Mike came home. Today I'll go to work and see what happens.

I gave my notice to resign. I did it. I said I was leaving to write a novel.
