This is what I spent my morning doing while I drank coffee and had some breakfast. Rearranging tracks, listening to pieces here and there. It made me wish I had more J-Pop and dance music in my Ipod. (Which is sadly underutilized, barely a tenth of the space filled.)

So today, I went to the gym for the first time in ages and ages and ages. I like this place so much more than any other place I've been. It's a women only place, so no worries about perverts jerking off in the pool or hot tub like those incidents at 24Hour Fitness a few years ago. It has a nice feeling, not so competitive and bitchy as other gyms.

I took one of the aqua cardio classes this morning and it felt good to race around in the water and stretch. Afterwards I jogged a half mile on the treadmill and listened to Gackt songs on repeat. Now I am quite worn out, but in a very good way.

There Will Be Blood

Mike has wanted to see this movie for some time, and I felt bad about dragging my feet so we caught it this evening at the Draft House. It is a well crafted and unique film, but not something I think I want to watch again. Partially because the soundtrack is so jarring and atonal, but also because Paul Dano's performance as Eli Sunday is so intense that I felt true repulsion for the character. Mike was a bit disappointed because he "expected more Deadwood and less Citizen Kane."
