Jul. 2nd, 2008 06:30 pmDespite the humidity in the air, one might not believe we had a tremendous shower this afternoon. It was nice to listen to rain pound on the roof. Listening to the neighbors argue, not so much. I will be so glad not to have share a wall with people one day. I like summer storms, their brief fury and relief from the heat.
Koshka's biopsy report came back negative - they suspect the growth was related to the periodontal disease he experienced. He's eating on a regular basis again, and spoiled. It's all beef all the time. I think it will take some time for him to forgive us for all the medicine. But he purrs when I pet him, and I think he's gained a pound or two.
Yesterday I injured my right thumb. It's made doing any number of things from using the touch pad on my laptop to opening my car or picking up papers difficult. Argh. Grocery shopping was made slightly painful, but I bought two kinds of ham for sandwiches, smoked turkey, pepper jack cheese and two kinds of bread. Delicious.
