no more hole in my tooth
Oct. 15th, 2008 03:04 amMike took me to the dentist, so they could give me nitrous oxide while they re-did the filling. (Is it just me, or does nitrous smell like orange jello/popsicles?) It was quick and painless. They have this interesting BP cuff that goes around the wrist instead of the upper arm which I find to be much more bearable. That squeezing sensation sort of weirds me out. Anyhow, my blood pressure was 119/85, which is shockingly good to me. On the way home, we stopped at Luby's for a to-go box of deliciousness.
After my late lunch, Mike went back to work and I went to sleep. Until around 8pm. Oops. I did do some laundry and get the grocery shopping done today, but tomorrow will be full of more tedious cleaning. I hope it rains.
We watched the director's cut of Dark City, which only adds a few more minutes in length but makes for a much better movie overall. (That annoying bit of exposition at the beginning is gone!) So it has a much more sinister, creepy atmosphere right off the bat.
