Soren is slowly but surely recovering from the stroke he suffered in October, a process that requires a lot of medical care and rehabilitation therapy. Those things cost money, and require time. As a freelance editor, baldanders does not have health insurance or paid sick leave.
One of my many talented NYC friendssykii is selling prints of her photography over here. She takes quite lovely photos of architectural details around the city, small scenes of life, the unobtrusive gargoyles and ever present pigeons. So shop for some presents for people you love, or get some new art for your bedroom walls. Profits from the sales are going to help with the medical bills, so your dollar is working twice as hard.
