Tonight the Drafthouse played Love, Actually and it was superbly awesome. They even talked about it becoming an annual thing. I think the movie is aging gracefully - the political references are vague enough but pointed for anyone who lived through all that talk of "carrying through with the policies of the previous administration." Perhaps the only thing is the reference to the World Trade Center but it is small and I think it just refers to the world After. Nothing ever really shows the world Before. Anyhow, it was good and Mike enjoyed it and for once the people next to me didn't talk the entire time.
