I ripped my thumbnail yesterday, and it's swollen. Of course it has to be awkward and almost impossible to treat. I want to just sock my thumb in ice until it goes numb, but it really isn't convenient for the things I need to do.

The air is full of smoke from the fires to the north, so I stay inside. It makes the light grey, along with a few clouds from the northern wind.
