airport time

Oh flying, I hate you so. It's so dreadfully uncomfortable. Thankfully on the second and longer leg of the trip I had my row to myself and could prop up my swollen feet. Why is it that when you make a connection your departing gate is always the furthest possible gate from the one where you arrive?

While in the Atlanta airport I noticed that the woman next to me was wearing her cell phone clipped to her bra strap. Not to her pants, or her purse - her bra. I noticed this because it kept ringing and she kept reaching into her tshirt to pull out the phone. Is this a regular thing? I am always amazed by the sartorial choices of people in airports.

I was kind of annoyed by the man laying in the middle of the floor, coughing every five minutes and making no effort to cover his mouth. Another person on the plane was emitting these wet, gurgling, hideous coughs at irregular intervals. The people around me would cringe. I don't blame them. My throat hurts and I feel paranoid that I will get sick AGAIN.
