dreamscape
Apr. 13th, 2010 10:05 amFor some reason Mike has stopped registering his alarm in the morning. Despite the fact it is a foot from his head and full of loud beeping and buzzing, it seems to wake him up more reliably than me. I often end up flailing at him or throwing a Squishable at his head until he wakes up.
In Squishable news, there is now a Squishable Pink Pig that supports cancer research, in addition to the adorable Squishable spotted pig.
I am slightly glad for the alarm clock this morning, as it woke me out of this terrible nightmare that seemed toor eal to be true.
coyotegoth died just a few days before a convention, and osmeone had printed up the last few pages of his livejournal and bound them in laminate like oversize restaurant menus.
rm and
wordsofastory were there, running some sort of casino night thing, and
delchi came to see us too. Almost every single person in my dream was a person from LJ, as I think more about it. I'm not even sure what the convention was for, a sort of mega fandom thing. Delchi and I broke into a museum. There may have been zombies, or just people dressed as zombies.
That seems to eb the general idea of dreams this week - people I know in weird situations. Things like my sister in law Jess dating Heidi Klum, Gene's siter using us as a landlord references and sending weird creditors our way, my friend Brett working as a prison guard. Right now, I'm going to blame this all on the television.
Last week I baked a delicious, juicy ham. Now I have to use all that ham. Yesterday's dinner was ham chunks scrambled with fresh spinach and eggs, served on hash browns. Next move might be a ham and potato soup, or maybe ham biscuits. Dessert was fantastic ice cream at Amy's. I had the lavender poppy seed with mini marshmallows, and Mike had the ice cream "Nacho" which was vanilla over waffle cone chunks with pecan praline on top. Yum.
