so close! maria needs to graduate

Sometimes, I think back to my college years and wonder how the hell I survived all that without going crazy. Just working full time, spending two hours a day on a bus commuting to and from school, and taking a full load of classes - when did I ever do my homework? (In the shower sometimes!)

theotoky and I have never met face to face, but we've known each other through Livejournal for years. My friend Maria is so close to being done with school. She's working two jobs to make ends meet. She just needs help paying for that final bit. Five thousand dollars is such a small thing to stand in the way of someone's life.
