This is a wonderful, sweet, delightfully geeky proposal. I love it. It's clever, but it isn't some weird high pressure public situation or sticking a ring into a glass of alcohol where it ends up all sticky or possibly in your mouth.

rose gold light

A lot of lightning to the south and east, sparking in the dark. Every few seconds there is another flash. Earlier the rain came just before sunset. The western sky was half clear, so the cherry red sun turned the light of the world rose gold. It's a color I can only recall seeing in summer. With the rain came my favorite smell, water on hot concrete and asphalt. It was so beautiful, it made up for the pain of going to the store at dinner time in the rain.
