Because Mike was home yesterday, I forgot it was Monday and the trash needed to go out last night. While I signed into a work conference, I heard the garbage truck. It will be okay, because our new mega recycling program has significantly reduced our trash. But it will stink terribly with two weeks of cat litter and the horrible heat. Every day I am quite thankful for the energy efficient qualities of our house that allow us to live with air conditioning that works and doesn't cost hundreds of dollars a month.

I learned the other day that most cable box/DVR set ups use more electricity than a refrigerator. I feel even better about giving up the cable. Also, yay Netflix for letting me watch the absurdity of Ouran High School Host Club today. (I had to see this after reading hilarious comments when wordsofastory showed it to rm recently.) It is really, really crazy and completely delightful.

Exercise is a lot less arduous with less hair. The thing about shaving my hair down means I can really see my two silver hairs. Yes, my one hair developed a companion. I resisted the urge to pull it out this time. It wouldn't be too much to hope I develop a dashing silver streak over my left eye now? Because I could love that.
