Right now I've been agonizing over Yuletide nominations for hours. I've nominated the Shadow of Israphel but I can only pick four characters and that is so difficult. I think I've settled on some, but I want someone to nominate more! I haven't even gotten to my other nominations yet.
Dinner last night was superb. I don't know how I was so hungry, but I ate my Caesar salad, baked potato and giant prime rib. Afterward we had cappuccinos and I should really drink more cappuccinos. I love all that foam. It reminds me of meringues. Then we came straight home to play video games. Mike is going to be in Skyrim for the next few months, which means I get the TV back. I'm tempted to buy Skyrim for the PS3 but I really shouldn't get sucked into a new game right before the holidays. I have Dragon Age 2 DLC still to play, and about a million stories I need to write for the Austin Chronicle contest and Yuletide.
Really I should get up and do some chores. Clean, because the house could use it. Ugh I hate cleaning. Facing the amount of dusting alone makes me want to give up and hire a maid.
On the list of things to do: buy candy for Yuletide candy swap, package up and mail Yuletide swaps, buy holiday cards and stamps, decide what to do about Thanksgiving, make some pies, actually do some cleaning, pick up the eleven million pieces of jewelry scattered around the house, make some serious plans about Christmas cookies, clean out the freezer.
Right now I'm going to empty the dishwasher because that seems totally small and manageable!
