everything all of the time

Last night around midnight, I went outside and laid down in the hammock. The breeze came fitfully and the leaves overhead were black against the dark blue night and the blinding white moon. I kept hearing Idioteque in my head, which is probably one of my favorite Radiohead songs of all time and there's a line "This is really happening" and "Here I'm alive, everything all of the time."

It feels absolutely crazy and beautiful to be alive. Even if it is cloudy today.

My friends have shown me kindness and love beyond measure. For a person who spent so long being afraid that people would drive me away with stones and words, it continues to be such a wondrous thing. I would not be in a place mentally or even the actual physical life I have now without the friendships and relationships I have that stretch over years and miles and wired connections. I would not have ever even dreamed of doing this if Mike was not the man he is, the epitome of patience throughout our relationship. He never seems to be afraid of anything, and that gives me strength.

It is early in the morning to be so sappy, but there you go. I love you dearly, you guys have made me see, life can really be a blast.
