I go by Anton these days, and have yet to change the name of this blog because I've had it so goddamn long (almost fifteen years) that it breaks my heart a little to think about it. Because my other internet alias is already taken on LJ, alas. That's okay. This is still a quiet place for me, pretty disconnected from my life on other social media platforms which is only good. My heart belongs forever here. I'm currently writing a really weird story about three friends, murder and a lot of unresolved tensions.
I'm a thirty four year old guy who lives in Texas. I'm trans. I have a job that is mostly carrying boxes around and I really like it. I have four tattoos. There's a chunk of gravel embedded in my palm from a bike accident when I was twelve.
Things I like: food, especially sweet things. swimming. robots. wizards. tattoos. Slavic languages and literature. dumplings. tacos. pie. frosting. coffee. the Texas sky. dancing. books. magazines. the smell of cedar trees and mesquite. my hammock. autumn. Tom Hiddleston. Charlize Theron. fanfiction. agonizing sexual tension. barbecue. being cold. the feeling after I get home from the gym. peppermint soap. bats. Squishables. limestone. stories.
Things I dislike: bananas. most cheese. tiny holes. getting ready to go to the gym. kale. people who enjoy being dicks on the internet. those tiny houses everyone on tumblr and pintrest go nuts for.
